Karlo provides an ultimate wine country experience in an 1805 Prince Edward County barn. Under the direction of star winemaker Derek Barnett, Karlo earned 23 gold medal scores in 2021. Improving on sustainability, Karlo produced the first vegan certified wine in the world to reduce carbon impact. Karlo was twice named on the “Top Ten Cutting Edge Wines of the World” list and on WineAlign’s “Best of the Best of Ontario” list. Most recently, Karlo was honoured by being named as VineRoute’s “Top 20 Wineries of Ontario” and recognized for producing one of the “Top Ten Wines of Ontario”.

Not only is all of the wine Karlo makes certified vegan, but all of the vineyard practices, the packaging – including the glue and ink on the labels, all menu items, and even the ownership is vegan. Karlo is as vegan as it gets.
