Steven’s Green Gardening Services: I am a vegan care bear gardener, who works with clients in their gardens—introducing them to native plants, vegan-friendly ways to garden, and solving issues.

Every creature has plants that they love and hate and I use this approach to either repel or attract them, using and encouraging mushroom compost as my #1 go-to compost. I educate clients on vegan-friendly alternatives to other products and homemade possibilities, with the philosophy of trying to do the least harm. I encourage clients to remove or reduce non-native invasive plants and give them other native options if possible, letting them know how having natives helps the local wildlife.

I can work with the client in the garden, and we talk and chat about the plants, benefits, and what we are doing. Or I can work alone to help keep their garden maintained, or spruce it up!
