I am the founder of Balance Life with Julie. I’m a Regenerative Health Practitioner and an award-winning Holistic Nutritionist. I’m passionate about supporting others to better health using a whole food plant based diet. I also have several yoga certifications and taught yoga prior to shifting into Regenerative Health.
My speciality is addressing root causes of autoimmune conditions, gut health and parasites. I’ve used nutrition, detoxification protocols and various holistic health practices to reverse Hashimoto’s and hypothyroidism in my own body so I know this work absolutely works. Thanks to these practices, I’ve been 100% medication free and thriving for the past 5 years. I use these very same tools educate clients about holistic health. My work goes beyond nutrition and looks at how the body functions and which tissues and organs are out of balance. Based on a thorough health assessment, I suggest herbal tinctures, diet changes, molecular hydrogen and many other practices and therapies based on your health concerns and goals.
I offer online courses, a group membership and also take 1:1 clients. I work with clients from around the world, all online. I’m continually expanding programs and offerings as the need arises. I’m also a published author in a collaborative book project, The Courage to Change, which hit the bestseller list on Amazon. I’ve been involved in animal rights activism for the last 5 years. These days I do weekly outreach with the Plant Based Treaty. I also do activism with Anonymous for the Voiceless and the Save Movement. Right now I’m in the midst of organizing a Vegfest in Durham region to bring more awareness to veganism and a plant based lifestyle in my own backyard. In my spare time I love to write, experiment with new recipes and enjoy traveling with my fiancé and our 3 dogs Coco, Harley and Shanti.
